Proudly servicing the Land Rovers of Texas and surrounding areas since 1997.

#1 Shop in TexasTop 3 Rated on Google · 2025

The Fort Worth Rover story starts with a Fort Worth legend — Jean Saba. A Lebanese man who moved to Fort Worth in 1974, Jean opened his first shop in 1976 — called "The Fiat House" — in the parking lot space behind the "Ice House" on old Camp Bowie.

From there he moved to a shop on Camp Bowie across from Kincaid's Hamburgers — where Kite Cleaners sits today — and stayed until 1982, when he bought his own property and shop on the corner of West 7th, on the corner where Blue Mesa is now, and owned the property across the street which was his paint and body shop.

Through those years Jean worked on just about everything on the road — Peugeot, Renault, Volvo, Mercedes, BMW, and Land Rover — vehicles he already knew inside and out from back home overseas. But as the industry shifted, the new Land Rovers rolled in with modern fuel-injection systems and complex electrical architectures that demanded factory-level training. To master them properly, Jean went to work for a local Land Rover dealership in the early 1990s, earned his full factory certifications, and learned every inch of the new Land Rover lineup coming out of Solihull. In 1997 he opened Fort Worth Rover on Marquita Dr. off Camp Bowie, then moved to a larger shop directly on Camp Bowie in 2002.

From day one at Fort Worth Rover, Jean brought his two sons, Tony and Chris, into the shop and spent nearly 20 years — from 1997 through 2016 — teaching them everything he knew about these trucks. Every model, every quirk, every fix. In 2014 he handed the business over to them, and he's proud to say they've pushed it further than he ever did — into an even bigger, more successful facility.

Three generations of customers now trust us with their vehicles — parents, kids, and grandparents alike. That's a bond only time can build, and it's irreplaceable. We're honored to continue the legacy of the living legend Jean Saba, and to keep serving the greater Fort Worth area.

Now in 2026 we're in an even better facility at 700 Missouri Ave. in downtown Fort Worth with the top technicians in the city — over 60 years of combined Land Rover experience — keeping our customers and their families safe on the road every single day.
